We Handle the Web,
so you can get on with the bit only you can do.

You didn't start your business to learn SEO.

You started it because you're good at something. Fitting kitchens. Treating patients. Cutting hair. Running a place people like walking into.

Then somewhere along the way you were told you also needed to be a web designer, a copywriter and a search expert. That's three more jobs stacked on top of the one you're already doing properly that pays the bills.

Most businesses I speak to have a website that was built once, a few years ago, by someone who's since moved on. It looks fine. It just doesn't bring anyone in.

That's the bit I handle.

What I actually do

Your next customer might not use Google at all.

More people every month are asking ChatGPT for a recommendation rather than scrolling through a search page. “Who's a good plumber near Leith?” “Where should I go in Edinburgh for this?”

Here's the useful part: what gets you recommended by an AI is mostly the same work that gets you ranked on Google. Clear answers, honest information, a site that's easy to read. The problem is that most small business websites give an AI nothing worth repeating back.

Sorting that now is a quiet advantage. In two years it'll just be the price of being in business.

How we'd start.

  • A conversation

Twenty minutes, on the phone or over a coffee. You tell me about the business. I tell you straight whether I can help and roughly what it would be worth.

  • A proper look

I go through your website and your Google listing and come back with what's actually holding you back, in order of what will make the biggest difference. You're welcome to take that list and do it yourself. No hard feelings.

  • We get going.

Monthly, rolling, no long contract. You get on with your business. I get on with the web.

Small enough to answer the phone.

I'm not an agency. When you email, I'm the one who replies.

There's no account manager in between and no junior doing the actual work.

I've spent over twenty years in software, most of it explaining technical things to people who have no interest in becoming technical.

I'm in Edinburgh, and I'd rather look after a dozen businesses properly than sixty badly.

I'm not right for everyone.

This works well if…

  • You're a local business and most of your customers come from nearby.

  • A new customer is worth a few hundred pounds or more to you.

  • You'd rather have steady growth than a spike.

It's probably not for you if…

  • You need to outrank national brands across the whole UK.

  • You want results inside a month. Realistically it's three to six.

  • What you actually want is someone to run your social media.
